Would I be able to read Fang's story before the others?

Only reason I'm asking is because I have the first book, third book, Max's story and Fang's story. I can't seem to find the second book and I've looked at Wal Mart and Half Priced Books. I'll be looking some more at a different Wal Mart and hopefully K-Mart, but I was only wondering because I want to get started on one of the books I've bought, and I know I can't start the third or Max's without the second or fifth.
