Why do so many women notoriously 'test' a guy?

through the beginnings of a relationship ? Why can't they just tell the guy what they like and need instead of going about it in an indirect way ? Is it to find out how much you can get away with ?Why do you need to get away with things anyway. Just act normal for gods sake and skip the drama
