Maximum Ride: Angel Question?

They're mostly awkward but they have a moment or 2 throughout the book...nothing very romantic but Max and Dylan get pretty close. The 3 fight a lot about what happened. Max and Fang are together for most of the book. The book is pretty good but I was a little disappointed because it wasn't quite what I expected
